I'm an experienced world-travelling musician who has worked professionally as a guitarist and composer for over a decade in Australia, India, UK and Germany. I have taught all ages and various styles - jazz, rock, pop, world music, folk etc - and I tailor each lessons specifically to each student's needs. I integrate various approaches to strengthen students' understanding of harmony, improvisation, composition, theory and ear training, in a fun and engaging way.

I have studied Western and Indian music theory extensively. I cover music notation, scales, chord construction, rhythms, composition and various other topics. I always ensure that there is a practical application to the theory knowledge that I impart.

As a teacher I have found ways to integrate ear training with vocalisation, memorable songs and a bit of theory. Learning through repetition and deep listening is highly encouraged!
