ESL does not need to be scary or boring. English grammar and phonetics are often full of exceptions. Language is a living thing. The English language is one of the most important world languages. Therefore, many wish to learn. Sometimes, studying from books generates more confusion and causes people to give up trying to speak it in live conversation. I encourage learners to just get started. As long as you are talking and using body language, I am certain you will be fine. Body language is at least 80% of it. Try to set 20 minutes a day preferably twice a day practicing vocabulary, phrases, and spelling. You will see results if you do this after 20 days.

Oftentimes, learners of English are afraid to ask questions and fear making mistakes. I help students to overcome these anxieties and get right into specific areas of vocabulary meaning, word usage, structure, grammar, and pronunciation.

I help students practice writing full sentences about topics of their interest and help students to correct their own structural and spelling errors. When a student is trained to see their own errors, they gain confidence.

Canadian English is a combination of American and British English. It seems to strike a balance of having the depth of British English while relating well to American English. In my view, Canadian English is clean and clear. It's not difficult to understand as it seems to exhibit an almost neutral intonation.
