Hello there! My name is Diego. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, I have been teaching Spanish for five years, and I've recently decided to take my expertise online. I talk fluently 5 languages and I am learning 4 more. I am really organized, love schedules and puntuality.

I am interested in travelling, knowing and experiencing cultures from its languages, history and architecture, and its from there that I focus my classes. My lessons include grammar explanation, songs, videos and a lot of talking.

Since I was a child, I have been deeply passionate about languages. It all started with English, as I spent countless hours watching movies, reading, and listening to music in English. I would constantly ask my school teachers for help with vocabulary and grammar, and by the age of 15, I had developed my own learning methodology that allowed me to surpass even my English school teacher in terms of knowledge.

As I continued to learn more languages, the process became easier and more enjoyable. In college, I took on the role of teaching English to students in my neighborhood as a part-time job. I quickly discovered how incredibly fun and rewarding teaching can be, and I've been teaching ever since.

I have obtained several language certifications, including TOEFL (English), CELPE-BRAS (Portuguese), IELTS (English), and Zertifikat Deutsch (German). These certifications validate my proficiency and understanding of the languages I teach.

My teaching methodology revolves around creating a supportive and interactive environment where speaking, asking questions, and learning from mistakes are highly encouraged. I utilize interactive platforms and English for foreigner e-books that provide real-time feedback, ensuring that my students understand correct and incorrect answers. Additionally, I incorporate music lyrics, TV series, documentaries, articles, magazines, and movies into my lessons to make learning engaging and culturally immersive.
