I have been teaching Greek to beginners for over 5 years, both as a freelancer and employed in different NGOs in the humanitarian field. I have also experienced first hand what it means to learn a language from the beginning while I was living in Spain, thus gaining valuable knowledge of the difficulties that a student faces when starting a new language.

I believe it is very important to create a lesson plan that suits the student and helps him/her to be able to speak at a basic level as fast as possible.

I have gained a lot of experience teaching conversational Greek as I was often helping people prepare their interviews with the Greek asylum office. I also have experience teaching conversational Greek informally both to adults and adolescents.

I believe that when you learn a new language you have to be able to use grammar and vocabulary to communicate effectively and that is what I try to achieve in my lessons.

I have experience in giving intensive Greek classes especially with students that were beginners and wanted to start speaking the language as soon as possible through several years of working with different NGOs in the humanitarian field.

I have intensively studied Greek literature during my bachelor's degree in Greek philology.
