Hello, my name is Wilma.
I am a South African currently residing in Johannesburg, South Africa. Teaching English and Afrikaans to children is my passion. I also enjoy teaching adults!
I teach English as a foreign language - to children from 3 years old to 18 years old. I also teach adults conversational English.
I speak English and Afrikaans.
Teaching children to use English proficiently, in everyday situations, is my passion.
I have a Bachelors Degree in English, a University Education Diploma and a TEFL certificate.
I have 40 years experience in the teaching of English and Afrikaans, and 5 years experience tutoring English and Afrikaans online.
My teaching method is student-centred. The Total Physical Response Method is my basis!
In your lesson you will listen, repeat, practise speaking, play games, role-play, hear stories, learn phonic sounds and how to spell, and have fun while you learn to speak English.
