My name is Marjan. I have been a teacher and translator since 1990, holding a Master's degree in Linguistics, a bachelor's degree in Translation of English, and an accredited certificate of TEFL.

I have passed several Teacher Training Courses too.

I have translated more than 15 books which were published in Iran.

I started teaching in 1990. I have taught English and Persian (Farsi) at schools, institutes, and universities in Iran/Tehran.

In my classes, the primary goal is to help the students increase their overall time spent listening, speaking, reading, and writing Persian, regardless of what their current level of proficiency may be. So the teaching package depends on each student’s goal, need, and knowledge of the language. The priority can be different according to the student's needs.

I believe being a native speaker doesn't necessarily mean that you can teach your language to others. To teach a language you have to be a teacher and be trained for what you are teaching and being a native speaker is a big advantage.
