Incredible tutor! Really good at working with you on what you want to learn/are interested in. I have learnt so much working with Adrien and have really enjoyed our sessions. Definitely feel more comfortable about speaking Norwegian :)

About the tutor

Hey! My name is Adrian and I come from the town of Arendal in Southern Norway. After a one and a half year stay abroad in Germany, I am currently living in the city of Aarhus in Denmark and studying history remotely.

While following politics and sports closely, I also have a huge interest for travel, history and culture.

All levels from beginners to advanced learners are welcome, from those that first want to learn how to have basic conversations, all the way up to fluent speakers aiming to refine their eloquence. I will do my very best to give you some good tips on how you can better your Norwegian skills and I am happy to focus on the aspects that you feel will help you improve the most. Whether it's vocabulary, pronounciation or grammar, I'll assist you with practising exactly that which will boost your language skills to the next level with real practical relevance.

In addition to having lived in Southern, Eastern, as well as Central Norway, I have a particular interest in dialects and sociolect, which play a very important role in the Norwegian language culture. So, I can gladly teach you both a standard-eastern/Oslo dialect, or also help you learn most of the regional dialects if you're already living in Norway or are planning to move to a specific region with a distinct dialect.

Though I have no formal background in teaching, I have privately helped friends and fellow students learn Norwegian while living abroad and I've been having a super positive experience teaching here on Preply. I am also planning to enter teaching after finishing my studies, so this seems like a great way to gather a good amount of knowledge in the field, while helping people improve their Norwegian skills and take a dive into the Scandinavian culture.
