Hi :) My name is Ann Lena, and I am a native speaking Norwegian, currently living just outside Trondheim, Norway. I am fluent in English, as I learned English in school from 4th to 10 th grade, and lived and worked in the US for 10 years.

I love to read, sing, swim and travel, and I love to meet new people. I love to learn new things and I love to teach as well. Random things abut me; I enjoy good food, and hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, and I am a proud mom of a 13 year old boy. And I always bring with me a book I am reading wherever I go.

I have been teaching on and off for the last 20 years. I have a Masters degree in Social Work and started out teaching Anger Management Classes in the US while studying and continued teaching that for 7 years after graduating. I have taught life management skills, employment classes, Norwegian 1:1 and in small groups, and also motivational classes for teens. Right now I work at a private school as a Special Ed. teacher, and also teach regular classes in Norwegian and English.

I can best assist you in reaching your language skills goals if you have a clear idea of what your goals are.

In a trial lesson we can together figure out if I am the type of teacher you would like. I can be both casual and professional, and I can also use a structured approach if you prefer.

I will make sure I have a clear understanding of what you would like to learn before we get started, and I will do my best to tailor the lessons to your needs after that.
