Hi,

My name is Tori, and I am a native Norwegian speaker. I teach Norwegian for beginners and have experience working as a teacher, tutoring students on various topics. I have a degree in biology and love to travel and explore different cultures and sceneries.

I know what it means to learn a language from scratch and know the motivation may vary, as I have lived abroad in a foreign country for the last couple of years.

I teach Norwegian for beginners and am excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your Norwegian language journey, help you expand your vocabulary, gain speaking confidence, practice grammar, daily conversations, reading and writing - I promise I will do my best to keep you interested and motivated.

I offer the following lessons:

1. Structured lessons (Beginner): You will be learning grammar and practising daily use of the language in each lesson while building the vocabulary. I recommend these lessons if you are just starting with Norwegian.

2. Conversational lessons (Beginner+): I will help you with your fluency, speaking confidence and correct use of the language. The lessons can be tailored to your specific learning goals and interests. We can explore Norwegian geography, history, culture and customs, or practice specific day-to-day/work situations.

3. Structured lessons (Beginner +): These lessons are for you who already know the basics and want to build your grammatical knowledge, fluency and writing skills. Every lesson starts with conversational practice.

4. Children (>8): Beginner Norwegian lessons for children. The teaching style and material are tailored to younger learners and their individual interests.

You can choose one type of lesson or combine them as you wish. After every lesson, I will give you access to the material from the class so that you can practice on your own time. I also assign homework if this is something you want.

In addition to having experience teaching, I am certified as a Preply language tutor.
