About the tutor

Hello, my name is Sven, German is my mother tongue. I have experience teaching beginners from zero as well as advanced learners. I accompanied/taught several students from zero to a high level (C1 exams).

I like learning languages myself, I'm very interested in other cultures, I studied social anthropology/ethnology. At the moment I live in Israel.

Over the years I privately taught some people I know, from zero to a very high level. In 2015/2016 I volunteered teaching German to a refugee class.

I focus on teaching you to speak a good and correct German. We can just talk, in a spontaneous or in a more organized way. Don't be afraid of making mistakes! You will learn from them, they are an important part of the learning process! We can also do grammar training and I would be happy to assist you to improve your pronunciation.

Conversational German
I generally recommend to talk right from the beginning. Don't be afraid making mistakes, you will learn from them. We can talk in a spontaneous or rather organized way. And I recommend to talk about subjects, that you are interested in (you should talk as much as possible in the lessons).
German for beginners
I want you to learn a good and correct German. I recommend to speak right from the beginning. And practicing grammar is very important when learning German. I also focus on helping you to get a good pronunciation.
Intensive German
I recommend all students to try to get exposed to the language as much as possible. If you like I give you advice, what you can do in addition to the lessons, at home, by yourself, to improve.
