My mission is to teach you Italian quickly and effectively so that you can easily integrate into the Italian society and make your day to day and professional life much easier

I'm an Italian mother tongue based in Venice. And after some years working In some international corporate jobs (first as an mechatronic designer, then as a project manager)(thanks to my technical background) i decided to follow my passion for teaching languages that i was already cultivating.

Thanks to my technical background and my teaching experience I can help professionals being fluent in Italian quickly, as well as students and expats.

My main passions are downhill mountain biking, calisthenics and traveling!

I see myself more as a communication coach rather than a tutor, because i tailor my lessons to each individual, to help you where you're struggling most.

So, whether that's preparing for an interview, maybe a big presentation, email writing, preparing for meetings, professional vocabulary, effective communication, small talk, or meeting new people in your daily life, I can help you with that

I don't believe in "fake it until you make it", but I believe in a proven method that brings you from A to B.

My method is divided in 3 steps.

1) LISTENING

Listening is the FIRST most important input one must have. Just think how you learned your first words as a child!

2)INTERNALIZING

It means absorbing in your brain the information you just listened to, more precisely through:

-Learning the theory behind (grammar and rules)

-And more importantly learning through images. With that I mean associating IMAGES with the new words you learn, NOT learning the translation of those words.

My goal is to make you think in italian, not only translate and speak in that language.

According to Vygotsky, language is not just a tool for communication; it is also a tool for thinking!

3)INTERACTING

This is where we'll put most of our efforts: we'll interact together a lot.

Here my job will be to increase your motivation and self esteem while interacting, and lowering the anxiety of making mistakes.

The "Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD)" Vygotsky's concept suggests that language learners make the most progress when they interact with individuals who are just slightly more proficient in that target language.

This is the system through wich i learned English and the other languages i know.

This method has registered the fastest learning speed i have ever witnessed.

Note then, that my lessons are interactive and practical

Focusing on the 4 main skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking)

I also believe that the easiest way to open our mouth is talking about our passions, that's why I will be glad to hear you talking about them in Italian!

I always create a fun and non judgmental environment in wich any errors are welcome!
