I truly believe that: The unexamined life is not worth living. That's one of the reasons why life-continual learning is of vital value to anyone. I finished many courses in this field that equipped me with the necessary knowledge, not just to be proficient at the relevant material, but to also help me convey this knowledge to a non-native with the right tools. Some with Al-Afaak and Fusool Online training centers, and some self-learning course on Rwaq, and others.

      Why choose Mohammed D.
"I have had a couple of lessons now with Mohammed and I enjoy them. He is different from the others and I like and intentionally chose this. His english is perhaps not as good as other teachers, but I actually wanted and prefer that, because it forces me to understand an arabic person (which will serve me in many ways with others) and to understand the arabic translation in a real sense, and fully submerge in arabic and learn it faster, because he is also not afraid to let me or does he try to control things too much, he steers, strengthens instead. He has a relaxed manner and genuine heart (which is important to me) and he is willing to go straight into reading, translating and speaking with me (even though I am a beginner I wanted and feel ready for this type of learning)... I wanted a tutor who was willing to "dive in" with me and not waste too long on the alphabet or take too long which can knock my confidence and progression as I cannot see any. I wanted to feel both learning from an authentic arabic person, but someone who wasn't disingenuous, or too structured, boring or lacking in heart and real world conversation, organic flow teaching and learning. It is hard to describe, for it is nice because it does not feel pressured because arabic feels like often like an impossible goal but he makes it feel like it is both achievable but that I am actually doing it :), but I like how it does stretch me and I like how he gets me to "jump fully in and swimming" so to speak. Will write another review as we continue our lessons. "

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

🌆 How to learn Arabic in Ballarat and what are my options in terms of commitment?

Besides self-study with special programs, you have a few main choices for learning Arabic interactively in Ballarat. First, universities and community colleges are an especially good idea for in-state residents. Also, ask about the centers for continuing education and professional studies (they are cheaper.) Your 2nd spource can be local for-profit language academies that are cheaper and flexible in schedule and requirements. Third, international learning centers usually offer cheaper group and more expensive in-person courses. Fourth, you can look for a private Arabic tutor in Ballarat. If flexibility is key, you can compare local Ballarat and online Arabic tutors.

🎟 Is it expensive to learn Arabic and what does a lesson with a tutor of Arabic cost?

For university and college courses you can estimate Arabic course cost by dividing annual tuition by ten (one course is usually 3 out of 30 credit hours offered) to get the cost of 1/2 of a hundred lesson hours each semester. Language centers and individual Arabic tutors charge $30-55 for hourly group lesson, with individual classes starting around $50 or more. Some of the most budget-friendly Arabic tutors can be found online, with tuition on Preply averaging 11 and tutor rates varying widely based on tutor country of residence, positive reviews and languages the tutor can teach in. Average reviews for Arabic lessons on Preply is 4.94 out of 5 stars.

📚 What are the requirements for Arabic language skill level to sign up for a course?

When considering college and learning center classes be prepared to show a language test profeciency score or take an entrance test to determine your level. Planned classes vary widely in terms of textbook quality, homework load and graded tasks, so research all such requirements in advance. With personal Arabic tutors you can find reviews for whom the tutor is effective with and which other extras they make available (like instruction for beginners, etc.) For more flexibility, choose a tutor from those who are teaching online.

🔥 Why is Arabic so difficult and are there ways to learn it faster?

One-size-fits-all language instruction practiced in schools is not the most effective way to learn Arabic. As proven by others before, you can gain basic Arabic fluency in 300 hours from zero knowledge. Studying and getting feedback a few hours a week you will be able to understand most words, express yourself, socialize in about a year. Offline interaction is not a practical option for everyone, so online classes are a quick and affordable way of acquiring the basic knowledge of Arabic. After gaining basic skills, online marketplaces like Preply have Arabic tutors who specialize in intensive classes for intermediate and advanced speakers.

🤷 How long does it take to achieve a good level of Arabic?

Some people brag about their natural ability and learn languages quickly, but for most to go beyond the basics and gain working fluency in Arabic will take at least 600 hours of study. The length of time can differ significantly depending on your current level of Arabic or knowledge of other languages in the same group. As soon as you've learned the basics it is advised to use the language as often as possible: watch videos, start a journal or write posts and comments using your new language skills, seek native speakers to speak with, try as many as possible ways to think and speak in Arabic out loud. If this is a greater challenge than you had anticipated you can also take conversational Arabic classes online.

🤳 Can I choose my own Arabic coach?

In language centers, there's a chance you can choose your own tutor (from the ones who already work there). Online, absolutely! The largest selection of verified Arabic tutors with full profiles and real student reviews is available on online language learning 'supermarkets' like Preply.

🗓 What's the best time to schedule classes?

Colleges run classes twice a week over a semester (75-day period). Language schools typically give shorter, 8-week, 12-week, and 16-week course sessions. Online, the number of lessons is really up to you, with early morning, day, evening and night classes available, on weekdays and/or weekends.
