My methods are based on a combination of traditional school (Kreutzer, Schradiek, Ševčik), to a modern Suzuki way and preparations for ABRSM tests.

Certified music tutor I have a Masters degree in Music, with specialization in Music Therapy from the University of Pretoria
Eight years experience teaching. I teach the following: piano (beginner - advanced), recorder (beginner - advanced), and guitar (beginner - intermediate). I also offer instruction in music theory and ear-training.

      Why choose Charlotte v.
"Behavioral economics and evolutionary biology tells us that our entire lives we are always making one of two types of decisions: fast thinking and slow thinking. Or in other words those fight or flight decisions, and those you are chilling on your couch and pondering that quirky comment you made to someone at the grocery store that week. Was it really necessary to tell the cashier that you would like to pay "by plastic?" I mean is having a soul sucking debt inducing "credit card" really a status symbol anymore ? I mean these days it's not just the guy with the rented Ferrari trying to play billionaire that has a credit card. I mean these days it doesn't matter what your credit score is. You don't have to be a rich billionaire for the banks to loan you an unghastly amount of money at 19.99 percent interest. I mean wasn't that called loan sharking and considered a crime when a bunch of Italian entrepreneurs began to do so in the brave "land of the free because of the brave?" So what im saying is that when you are picking a guitar teacher you are being forced to make that stupid comment at the grocery store. But the cool thing with picking Charlotte V is that unless you are trying to be the next John Petrucci or Zakk Wylde or a Slash, you will probably never live to regret your decision to pick Charlotte as your tutor as you might reconsider that stupid comment to the cashier. You see Charlotte is only steeped in the knowledge of music and the language of music, she is also a laid back, observant and adaptive instructor who makes it fun and relaxing to learn something new and scary. I've never seen Charlotte shred on the flying v electric guitar during our lessons, but I get the sense that she knows vast amount of those stupid did you know info flashing bars that play at the bottom of the screen during a stupid Dr Phil Show. I mean like that wierd tangent of a "comment" that appears at the bottom of the Tv, charlotte knows the little wierd things about the piano and the guitar and music in general that you never knew you needed to know. See when making an uncertain decision you can either maximize your chance of achieving an optimum outcome or you can minimize the risks or the bad consequences of that decision. But when you pick Charlotte you are well placed to make a system two, sober second thought, decision. You are positioned to either continue the awesome learning with Charlotte or you are positioned to advance your specific skills with another tutor. Bottom line is if you are a beginner to intermediate guitar player, you cannot make a better fight or flight decisions than booking that first lesson with her."

I have had other guitar/bass teachers on this app but i have yet to find one as good and clear in giving you techniques and lessons as Andrii, I always leave his classes learning something new i would recommend any guitarist or bassist to book a lesson.
