About the tutor

I am a creative and caring teacher who teaches Portuguese and English. I work with children, teenagers, adults and the elderly to help them achieve their goals.

Literacy, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, cultural "immersion" etc, are some of the things that we can work together.

I'm into methodologies, I study a lot about this topic, and I like to learn from my students the best way to teach them by understanding their learning profile in order to personalise our lessons.

We can work right from the beginning, making you feel comfortable and ready to learn. If you're a beginner, get ready to get the sense of achievement and progress. You will learn a lot!
Conversational Portuguese
Let's talk! We can have a nice talk about topics you like, for example, and I listen to you really carefully in order to give you effective feedback. Then, we can work on grammar, vocabulary and on your questions too. It's all based on your oral production!
Intensive Portuguese
If you have a deadline or want to learn in a short period of time, we can have intensive Portuguese lessons. We work harder on conversation, vocabulary, grammar BUT in an interesting and a natural way. Intensive doesn't mean boring or tiring, it means a high sense of achievement! Right?
Portuguese for children
Literacy, conversation, CLIL (content and language integrated learning) and active methodologies can be part of our lessons. When working with kids, we can play games, have fun moments that include arts, music and creativity!
General Portuguese
If you know a bit of Portuguese and want to learn the 5 language skills, which are: listening, speaking, reading, writing and cultural awareness; this subject is for you. We'll work on them all in a fun and interesting way, of course! Let's expand your knowledge!
Brazilian Portuguese
