Failure is the mother of success, that is my favorite word.

As JK Rowling said in famaous Harvard commencement speech, "failure taught me things about myself that I could have learned no other way."

Only rule in my class is, don't be afraid to make a lot of mistakes, let's speak a lot in Japanese.

It is very comfortable to work with foreigners for me, so my first career after my graduation was business center at foreign capital hotel, and now I am working at pharmaceutical company.

I have more than 5 years teaching experience for Japanese;

my teaching career started when I was high school student as volunteer.

I shared precious time with “newcomers” who tried to learn Japanese hiragana, katakana, kanji. The students were mainly children(5-15 years old) and live Japan within three years.

New Year's card written in Japanese that they had sent me is my invaluable starting point and motivation to teach Japanese.

My university days, I had a class for more advanced skilled learner who hope to know more historical culture and speak more “natural” Japanese, especially pronunciation by unique way; singing a song, tongue twister-- I believe Japanese has characteristic rhyme, so it is very important part to be “natural” Japanese speaker; these were great method to practice Japanese

For my dear student, I truly would like to seek together what method fits you based on my experience, but I believe talking, speaking a lot, mistaking a lot would be the best method to learn Japanese even if you would like to just learn writing or listening;

so basically I strongly recommend you to speak only Japanese in my class (except beginners).

I can speak English, but I would like to limit to speak English. That is making a long way to be “good ” Japanese speaker short.
