Hi everyone! I am Filiz and I live in Istanbul. I have been teaching Turkish for a few years. I have taught both online and face to face. I am experienced with learners from beginner to advanced level. My classes are organised according to students' needs, which generally means lots of speaking practice. However classes can be based on any aspect of Turkish.

Besides being a teacher I am a translator of Ottoman Turkish and I am also doing a PhD in Ottoman History. I like studying languages and I am interested in etymology. I studied Russian for a while and now I am learning Greek. I know the difficulties of learning a language and easy ways to understand grammar rules.
