During my 5-year journey of English teaching I have realized that teaching English is all about speaking... and more speaking! Thus, in my search for the perfect fluency plan it led me to the unconventional methods I've been using to elevate students to the level of fluency they have always dreamt of.
Hi all! My name is Warren and I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South-Africa. Before embarking on my teaching career I had actually worked in finance for almost 9 years. I needed a more exciting and fulfilling career and I thus excused myself from the world of numbers and pursued my passions of teaching and philosophy. I've never looked back since as I have more time doing what I love most!
After I left my Financial career my first action was to get certified as an English tutor. I got my Level 5 TEFL certificate in 2019 and immediately started teaching online. I had a particular interest in Conversational and Business English and so I went from platform to platform meeting and helping over 300 students worldwide fulfill their English language potential.
When it comes to my teaching methods I prefer the unconventional and more natural approach as this has given the best results. Speaking will take up about 90% of our lesson time, vocabulary will be memorized through using it in your speaking and grammar is learnt through making mistakes and incorporating it into your speaking. Rest assured that we won't use any grammar books in our lessons as they confuse students more than they actually help. I will present the psychological and natural tricks to skyrocket your language level to new heights, faster and more precise.
The beauty of the methodology I use is that it combines speaking, vocabulary and grammar in such a unique and natural way that you'll be able to have English conversations feeling confident and enthusiastic about it. Whether you just want to learn English for fun, work or, hopefully, to travel to South-Africa the methods I'll show you will ensure you gain English mastery through consistent engagement and motivation. You'll just want more of it!
