I am a full-time Tagalog tutor and have been a tutor on Preply for three years.

I am a certified ESL tutor and have been teaching online for almost five years with over 7000 lessons conducted online. I first started teaching English online to Chinese nationals but realized how the language barrier is quite hard to overcome as I do not speak Chinese, so I then decided to switch to Filipino as I am fluent in speaking both English and Filipino.

So what can you expect in my classes?

As a tutor, I focus a lot on the structure of the language. I believe that having a solid foundation of the basics would help learners be independent speakers and help them piece gaps in their knowledge, especially for those who already understand a bit of the language.

We’ll be answering questions like, “is it ang or ng?”, “what does naman mean?!”, 
“Is 'bababa ba' a legit sentence in Filipino?!”, and so on.
