I am from the Philippines and a Native Tagalog speaker. I teach the Filipino language from beginners to advanced level, catering both adults and children.

During the trial lesson, I assess my student's needs through conversational technique. I ask them about the place they live in, their culture and goals, and I tell mine as well. My travel experiences made me comfortable speaking with foreign people, and talking about familiar places and things. By doing such, I can tell what are the points the student wants to learn from me.

I use Google Docs & Spreadsheets in teaching. I can help a student learn the everyday conversations, telling directions in Tagalog, and of course all the essential words needed to navigate the Philippines.

I am a retiree from Government Service as a Senior Customer Service Officer for 16 years, and handling conversations is my expertise. I have a Master in Business Administration Degree, and a TESOL and TEFL teaching certificate.

I am TESOL and TEFL certified and I have taught in an informal setting. I am very flexible with my approach to my students, friendly, and "bubbly" in class :-)
