Hello, my name is Sophy. I am a native English speaker from South Africa.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and I also help children with their homework.

My dream is to become a professional teacher since I am very passionate about teaching, and I hope one of the good days I will be able to travel the world as I am keen in exploring people's different cultures and lifestyle in general.

I hold a TEFL certificate. Teaching styles that I will incorporate in our class are,

•communicative language teaching: this method will help students to get used to communicating in English and it will also exercise their listening skill.

• Grammar and spelling method: this method will help students in perfecting their writing and most importantly it will introduce them to parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives and etc.).

• and lastly, we will use the PPP (presentation, practice and produce) Method: in use of this method I will present an activity and the student will be given time to practice and produce it, this method will help me assess and keep record of your progress based on the goal you would have set to achieve.
