Hi I'm Mei Long, a native and certified teacher from China. I've taught adults Chinese for 3 year. Before a Chinese teacher, I've worked for one of the Fortune 500 companies over 10 years. My professional background makes me more flexible and reliable and more acceptable for different culture. I teach adults as well as teenagers through conversational Chinese in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I received the international Chinse Teacher cerificatie from the Confucius Institute in 2019.And I have 3 years teaching experience online and offline.

During 2019 to 2020, I'm the Chinese teacher worked for an International Exchange Corp. to teach exchange students mainly from Europe and American in Shenzhen, a city next Hongkong. We mainly focused on HSK courses and Chinese culture introduction. And I used language games and traditional Chinese handcrafts to motivate students to the learning. Encourage them to use the language as more as possible. We together made a video to celebrate Chinese New Year!

After the Covid breakout, I mainly teach online to students all over the world ,from 9 years old to 60. I customize different courses according to the level of the students.

We talk about the topics the students are interested in, at the same time I point out the language points we used and encourage them to use them in following conversations.

For the higher level students, sometimes I use Chinese movie clips to let them learn in real context.
