Hello there! It's nice to meet you. My name is Tyler. :)

I'm an English teacher who loves making class fun and pleasant for my students. I love seeing my students get excited about learning and communicating.

Here is my story:

In 2016, I graduated with a degree in English literature and a TEFL certificate. I wanted to travel the world, so I started teaching in South Korea at a private English academy. I met many amazing students there. I liked teaching so much that I decided to study for my master's degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL. I finished my degree in 2019 after doing research on how to motivate young learners to learn a new language.

In 2018, I moved to Mexico to teach at an international school. It has been an amazing experience for me. I learned about the IB curriculum and how to help my students learn independently. During my time here, I have had many amazing experiences and became fluent in Spanish.

Now, it's 2022. I specialize in teaching English online. After taking online Spanish classes, I am truly convinced that online classes can be the best way to learn a language. There are so many online resources for us to use, and all from the comfort of your home.

I have seven years of teaching experience. I have taught all ages and levels from Kindergarten to Business English and IELTS preparation courses. My teaching style depends on my students, but I always focus on building a relationship with my student by focusing on their needs and interests.

With younger students, I love using digital props to explain ideas and games to keep things fun. I bring a lot of energy to the classroom the help them have fun in my classroom. We will explore thought-provoking topics and use real world materials.

With more advanced students, I push for a lot of student output. You can expect many open ended questions and opportunities to express yourself. When the need comes, I do my best to provide memorable and precise corrections.
