My name is Melissa. My professional background is in finance but I love to explore my creative side by learning foreign languages. Languages are indeed my passion (I speak 4 of them: English (native), French, Spanish, Italian). I am mostly self-taught. My deepest desire has always been to share this passion with others because I believe learning should be fun as well as effective.

I have 5+ years of experience teaching a variety of subjects but for me teaching languages has always brought me the most joy and fulfillment.

I start by getting to know the student and understanding his/her needs. Then together we create a customizable curriculum using multiple resources. I do this because I believe there isn't a unique source nor a single tried and true method that works for everybody. There is no such thing as 'one size fits all" when it comes to learning.
