Hey there, I am Sofiyyah, I am a 22 year old student from the beautiful city Cape Town in South Africa. I am currently in my third year of studying to become a Physiotherapist at the university of the Western Cape. I am a certified TEFL teacher, completing my level 5 certificate in teaching English and doing an add on course in teaching English online 1-on-1.

I am patient, I function well under pressure, I am passionate with teaching English. I would like to offer my students both a safe and relaxed environment for learning. I aim to achieve all their goals through the lessons we will have and will ensure every lesson is fun, exciting and informative. I am willing to share every drop of knowledge I possess with each and every one of my students so that I ensure that we are all fluent and eloquent with our speaking skills.

Some of my hobbies and interests include, reading, going to the gym to keep fit and I love to binge a series now and then. I look forward to getting to know you and most of all to teach you.

I have had minimal teaching experience in teaching English. I have been a tutor for maths and economic management sciences. Those lessons were based on the students needs and lack of understanding of certain modules within their course work.

I am very passionate about English and obtained a 70% grade in high school, this then led me to complete my TEFL certificate and to take on a role to teach English.
