Hello !

My name is Camille and I'm French. I love dogs, gardening, the sun and video games, especially Animal Crossing! I also love geography, especially French geography :)

Teaching French is my job, and I'm really passionate about it!

I have 2 Master's degrees related to teaching French.

Firstly, in 2023 I obtained a Master's degree FLE (French Foreign Language) in France, which enabled me to learn the latest methods related to teaching French.

Very recently, in 2024, I obtained a Master's degree in French teaching for secondary education (teenagers) in Spain.

I plan to take the competitive examination to become a French teacher in Spain in June 2025.

I also have a Bachelor's degree in foreign languages (English, Spanish and Italian). During this degree, I took 2 MOOCs related to teaching French.

As far as my experience is concerned, I was a trainee with migrant teenagers who were just starting to learn French for 7 months.

Then I was a teacher for 1 month in France with 4-year-olds. They were French, but that's an age when learning French sounds is fundamental, so it gave me a lot of experience in this area.

Then I was a French teaching assistant in a secondary school in Spain for 5 months.

Finally, I was again a trainee in a secondary school in Spain for 3 months.

As you can see, I specialise in working with teenagers. However, on Preply I've had a lot of adult students with whom things have gone very well (you can see that from my reviews), so if you're an adult, you can definitely take lessons with me :)

I accept children from the age of 9.

As far as level is concerned, I specialise in beginners. It is possible to take lessons with me if you have a higher level, but from B1 level upwards the lessons will focus on the conversational and/or professional part (depending on your needs).

I have taught many adults for their professional careers (cook, ski instructor, sales assistant, secretary etc).

Given my passion for French geography, I can help you if you are planning to travel in France (booking a train ticket, places to visit, etc.).

Generally speaking, I adapt the lessons to your profile, we will discuss this by message and during the first lesson together to establish a tailor-made and personalised programme :)

As regards your mother tongue, as indicated in my profile, I speak Spanish at C1/C2 level, English at B2 level and Italian at B1 level. Therefore, I do not accept Italian speakers at beginner level (unless you speak English or Spanish). I do not accept beginners who speak neither Spanish nor English. I usually make a lot of links between the two languages so that you can better understand the grammatical concepts of French (especially if it's a Romance language!).

For pronunciation, I use the corrective verbo-tonal method.

I don't teach at weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
