About the tutor
Hello, my name is Tamara and I am originally from South Africa, however I currently live in the west of England and have lived here for over 20 years. I enjoy travelling and visiting museums and in my spare time I love to listen to music and to audiobooks.
In my current position I work as a trainer for a large organisation in training and coaching staff within a business environment. I am also experienced with preparing students for the IELTS and TOEFL tests for both general and academic English. I have also gained the 198-hour TEFL qualification as well as an advanced certificate in Teaching Business English.
I have also gained a Diploma in Higher Education in Social Sciences through the Open University in the UK. I strongly believe that learning should be fun and that students benefit from receiving positive support whilst learning. I use a blended style of learning using visual, audio and activities to help students learn
