My name is Florence (Flo) and I am a qualified and experienced English Language Teacher. I have experience with all ages, levels and learning styles and am native English.

My hobbies and interests are:

Surfing – I have learnt how to surf on the coasts of North Spain, West Mexico and Chile.

Skiing – I have skied with my family since the age of six to various European resorts including St. Anton, Gargellen, Flaine, Les Gets, Val d’isère, Meribel, Samoens and Les Diablerets.

Food and Cooking – I have been brought up in a family passionate about food, wine and cooking.

Languages – I find learning a language fascinating and enjoy becoming familiar with the Spanish culture from visiting various Spanish speaking countries. I thoroughly enjoy working as a teacher in schools, teaching organisations and online language classes.

Travelling – I love to travel and explore new places and cultures. I have travelled around Colombia, India, Spain, Mexico and Chile, as well as trips to a variety of European cities.

I am CELTA 5 (Cambridge English) qualified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. During the last 4 years I have taught in pre-schools, primary schools, adult language schools, international NGO's and 1-1 in person and online tutoring.

My personal teaching philosophy depends on the goals, learning style and personality of the student. I have experience with a variety of methodologies and learning styles and believe that the most personalised learning experience is usually the most successful. I will design classes that you will enjoy, feel comfortable and confident in achieving your language goals. These qualities ensure a more enjoyable and efficient way of learning as well as a positive learning experience where one is not afraid to make mistakes, but instead welcomes them as the key for growth and progress.
