About the tutor
Hello! My name is Daniele, I was born in Mexico City. My father is from the U.S. and my mother is Mexican, so I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. I am 25 years old and I have lived in 7 countries so far. I have a passion for the arts, especially photography and fashion design, but most of all I'm always excited to learn about different cultures.
When I was in Highschool I volunteered at public elementary schools in Mexico City as an English teacher for a year. Later, when I was living in Germany I began tutoring other college students in Spanish and English. I prepared 3 different students for the DELE exam and hosted gatherings where they could practice the language. During a lesson I usually like to only speak English, I believe that immersion is the most effective way to learn a language, and I like to accompany what I say with expressive hand gestures, but I have no problem explaining things in Spanish or French if you speak either of those languages.
