Hi, I am Ermioni from Crete, Greece, thank you for visiting my profile! 😊

I am a certified teacher from the School of Letters of the University of Crete ready to help you discover this wondrous, albeit intricate language. I also hold a Master's degree from the same university and have spent a semester studying abroad through the Erasmus+ student exchange program in Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic.

Except for my BA and MA studies, I have also studied 4 languages: English, German, French and Russian so I know my fair share of how it is to be a student and will design my classes accordingly. 🙂

I also love to play the piano, the ukulele and the bendir but my current ''obsession'' is gouache.

Ι've been teaching online for more than a year now and I can confidently help you in your journey of studying Greek.

Currently, I unfortunately do not work with children but if you are an adult of any level I am more than happy to get to know you and help you learn my language! One thing is for sure; we will speak in Greek as much as possible as my goal is for you to familiarize yourself with hearing Greek, understanding Greek and in time speak Greek! :D

My lessons are based around your needs and I am super flexible with the structure and methods of teaching. After we've built the basics I like to introduce art of multiple forms into my lessons and for students who are of upper-intermediate level I can create lessons around topics such as philosophy, bioethics, history, music, film and sociology.

During the first lesson we will get to meet each other and I will assess your level. There we will discuss your goals, your timeframe and the teaching material. There will be no homework after the first lesson (only if you request it!) and we will discuss the amount of homework you will be able to do in our time together. At the end of the first lesson we will also talk about the number and frequency of the needed lessons in order for you to achieve your goal! ^_^
