Hello there! I'm an elocutionist and theatre actress resides in Türkiye 🇹🇷

I graduated from Hacettepe University, English Language and Literature. I have certificates in performing arts and elocution. I'm advanced in English and intermediate in Korean. I worked as a personal tutor (PT) in language schools, educational consultant and student coach in global education companies. I have guided students from different cultures in the USA. I also worked as a narrative designer for 2 years. I have been working as an actress, voice over artist and stage designer in various theaters for many years. I've been teaching Turkish on Preply for a long time and I feel so grateful to be a part of this great team!

So, after my tutoring journey on Preply, I can proudly say that I'm a tutor who makes her students feel comfortable and motivated. Because sometimes we all need that!

🇹🇷 Turkish is an agglutinative language so its logic and system might be challenging at the beginning (no lie) for students especially who are native in Western languages. That's why teaching grammar is crucial to me. (even for speaking classes)

💫 So think of it as we're playing with bricks. I show you the brick types and the ways of connecting them. Then you start with building a house, then a city, a country, and the whole world.

🇹🇷 We will be learning new things by engaging in conversations and using examples from the real life out there. It allows us to practice grammar when we converse with each other. I will share capsulated notes and audio books I prepared, so you can immerse yourself in Turkish!

🌙 I teach with my own method arranged according to age group and level. Every student has a different story so are their lessons!

💫 Using the book as a guide and making use of various improvisations and games in certain places to absorb the grammar rules:

- not based solely on memorizing grammar rules

- internalized and effectively used knowledge instead of piled up information

- minimizing the problems encountered while learning a new language

🗣️ While teaching Turkish, I will teach you the rules of elocution and how to pronounce it in the best way, so you will learn the correct pronunciation of every word covered in the lesson.

🗣️ Although Turkish is a phonetic language, it has many words that cannot be read as they're written; We will not allow confusion on this matter. You will learn to speak Turkish effectively and beautifully. You can trust your elocutionist right here ✌🏻
