Hi my name is Nadine and I'm an experienced teacher on Preply, with a high focus on conversation. Through experience I know that this is the area most people want to improve but also struggle with. I have tons of conversation materials prepared, so you don't have to worry about anything. I'm flexible in my approach so I'm happy for you to choose topics if you like and it is up to you whether you want to do homework. We can always throw a few grammar exercises into the mix. I'm completely happy to adapt to your needs. Needless to say, I like to be efficient with our time together because I want you to get out of it as much as possible.

I'm originally from Cologne and have been living in the UK half my life. Currently in Glasgow. I have taught my 12 year old daughter (who grew up in the UK) German since birth and she is now fluent. Due to my high level in both of these languages, I can intuitively understand where people have difficulties.

In the trial lesson we will start assessing your level by having an easy chat. If you have anything specific you'd like to learn please tell me about it. Otherwise I will spend the rest of the lesson explaining my methodology to you and give you some examples of the materials I use. I tend to share my screen a look because I think it helps with comprehension.
