I'm Ian, I'm a CELTA-certified english professor from America, with 10 years experience teaching around the world.

Besides english, I've studied and taught cinema production and analysis. I've written speeches, and articles about art, culture, film. Currently I also enjoy music performance and production!

I have a double degree from a prestigious American university (Cinema and PPE) and speak French (Advanced), Russian (Intermediate) and Japanese (Lower-Intermediate). I'm now working on Thai!

I specialize in but am not limited to english for IT and film industries as well as interview and certification preparation.

Examples of recent projects:

- Working with an international IT company to improve their global cohesion.

- Coaching actors, directors, producers to improve their performances, their on-set communication and confidence.

- Helping a group of IT workers obtain at least a 7 each on their IELTS so they could pursue their dream jobs overseas.

Lessons are fundamentally CELTA-based, meaning they use modern methods that integrate different skills, and focus on communication, not grammar tests. They inspire you to both talk AND listen.

The lesson content, however, will be tailored to your background and goals.
