Hello. I´m Karen, your future English tutor. I come from the US (New York City)

I have taught 2 years old introducing them to their very 1st English experience and helping young kids prepare for their IELTS Cambridge Assessment Exams. Also carrying business English conversations, and role-playing job interviews. I have also made presentations or prepared entire families with all the necessary vocabulary and cultural exposition for moving to a new country.

I have experience teaching both in the classroom as well as remotely.

Teaching is my passion. I simply love conveying new information to people in a positive way.

I love life, love laughing, love meeting new people, and exchanging points of view.

As a teacher: I´m used to being in command of large size classrooms where the language isn´t English. Yet, being able to have great fun whilst learning in a fun atmosphere.

About me, when I´m not busy teaching, I fill up my time with the millions of hobbies I´ve developed. For example, I donate time to animal shelters. Or bring food to rough sleepers. Though mostly, I lend them a listening ear!  But we´ll discuss more of that during our lessons.

Although I was born in the U.S, I grew up from a very young age in West Europe, attending an International school. This made me fluent in French, German, Spanish, and Italian.  I speak English with a European flair. ie. not quite British but certainly not American either.

About my teaching techniques, I use music, props videos if need be and lots of educational games to make the lessons more interesting and fun just for you.
