About the tutor
Hello! My name is Silvia and I am an Italian student of International Relations in Milan. Since I am passionate about languages, I have studied English, German and Spanish for six years, which have allowed me to recently experience a 6 months Erasmus in Germany.
In my spare time, I love to travel and explore new cultures. I am also an avid reader, and I enjoy immersing myself in the literature.
I have language certificates in English (IELTS C1), German (Goethe-Zertifikat B2) and Spanish (DELE C1), whereas I am an Italian native, and I already have taught to several students. Indeed, my knowledge of other languages will allow me to communicate with students while teaching Italian.
As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges that come with mastering a new language. That’s why I approach teaching with patience, empathy, and a personalised approach to each student’s needs and learning style, from the basis to an advanced level. I provide students with a friendly and supportive learning environment, and I let them practice speaking, reading, listening or writing tasks. I always try to help students with constructive feedbacks and practical tips, and I make use of resources such as videos, podcasts etc. I am also available for conversation lessons and group classes, so that students can practice with learners of their same level.
If you’re ready to embark on a journey to Italian fluency and achieve your language goals, don’t hesitate to book a trial lesson with me and let’s get started!
