Marhaba everyone!! My name is Tania Rebecca and I've been an Arabic teacher for 23 years and counting! I'm Lebanese/Greek and was born and raised in Lebanon. I lived in Dubai for 17 years and taught in Sabis UAE and Nibras International School. I also gave private in-person, and online lessons for young and old students from many backgrounds and cultures. I teach reading, writing, and conversational Arabic (whether standard, or Lebanese... you name it!) I took part in many different teaching workshops and received participation certificates from AUB. All these teaching years taught me to be patient and enriched my knowledge in order to find more differentiated instructional methods.

My interests are reading, writing, listening to music, hiking, cooking, and swimming. But to me, learning languages is the best. After all, learning a new language is like taking the keys to open a door of new culture.

For me, teaching isn't about giving information, it's about building my students so they can receive the information in a way that suits their needs. My secret recipe is simplified information, passion, patience, and a touch of love.

I have 23 years of experience, I've taught in schools (Sabis UAE, Nibras International School, and LIT Al Madrasa...) I also tutored, or gave private classes, whether full agenda for younger kids, or older foreign students in institutes. As for certification, I'm an undergraduate who did a year of law, and 3 years of Arabic literature in the Lebanese University. I attended many workshops and gained certificates such as classroom management, curriculum mapping, and student assessment from AUB (American University of Beirut). I also recently took part in creating an Arabic teacher's guide for kids. Finally, as for methodologies, I'm more of a facilitator than a teacher who strives to create a student centered environment.
