I was born in Thailand to a foreign father and a local mother, living in Phuket until I was nineteen. As I grew up hearing three languages at home, so did my interest in linguistics. I’d be so bold as to say that up there with food, learning languages is one of the best ways to experience other cultures. Along with engaging in both those things myself, I often find my nose buried in a book, if not out taking quizzes at the local bar or playing board games with friends.

Being a language learner myself, I take inspiration from the methods of Michel Thomas and Paul Pimsleur, that being, steadily building a sentence mine with which you will be able to handle different scenarios, while breaking them down piece by piece so that grammar is understood. From there we will engage in transformational exercises as well as drilling for automaticity.

As someone who speaks both English and Thai natively, as well as being an enthusiast of languages, I'd like to believe that I'm rather adept at explaining grammar to English speakers in a way that is easily understood. Whether you're a beginner to intermediate learner ready to put theory into practice or a seasoned veteran of learning Thai, hoping to no longer sound like a tourist with a phrasebook, I'm just the tutor you need!
