Hello everyone! I am a native Indonesian speaker from Surabaya. I have been teaching professionally for more than 10 years. I have already taught Indonesian for more than hundred students both online and in class. Many of my students start from very beginner level or almost zero and I help them improve their Indonesian and now they can speak well.

I am also a language enthusiast who loves reading, traveling, and watching movies. My experience in teaching many backgrounds (from kids to adults) is one of my strengths, therefore, I am able to create effective and innovative materials for my prospective students. For beginners, we can start to build your vocabularies, construct sentences, and have a trivial conversation about daily lives. For intermediate and advanced students we can have informal conversations and speak like natives!

I have years of experience in teaching Indonesian to expatriates and foreign students. I speak B1 French, and currently, I am learning German, thus, I know the challenges of learning new languages which are totally different from our mother tongue. For me, learning a language is not only about grammar and structure but also about its culture. Immersing yourself in Indonesian culture and its context will help you understand more about this language.

I use many tools from textbook, video files, flashcards, games, articles/news, and/or assign you with homework if you want to.
