My name is Mi-Kyung, born and raised in Seoul, Korea.

I am in my middle 40's, married, and had worked in export industry for 20 years. Majored Korean Language, and now studying 'Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language' in Grudate school.

I have "the certification of teaching Korean as a foreign language", and I had 10 students in last 3 years from beginner to advanced levels. I taught grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation and TOPIK2 upon request and they were all satisfied.

If you want to learn daily expressions to communicate in Korean, my lesson focused on basic grammar and vocabulary. and you need to do homework : sometimes you just do practice usages of grammar or prepare sentences so we can check them during the class. I usually supply PPT materials.

if you are intermediate level, we can discuss on various materials based on your needs. You can choose your own book, or I can provide PPT, script, audio or video materials.

If you are preparing TOPIK2, we can choose 1 book and solve questions together. During the lesson, I will show why the answer is correct and the other numbers are not. Also I will show how to figure out what a writer claims, what is a subject of a text...

Especially if you want to improve your writing or speaking, lessons will be task-based: you do the homework and submit it to me, and I will review and show you what to improve during class.

Learning a foreign language is very difficult and each person has all different needs. I am also learning one now, so I feel the same.

I don't have much experience, but I am formally trained and ready to find "the way" that fits you.
