My name is Olov, and I am a 29-year-old polyglot language teacher with a background as a Political Science Major and UN-worker. I teach Swedish but I am a speaker of English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

I have 3+ years of experience teaching Swedish to people of varying ages and levels in 1 on 1 classes!

For me learning and teaching languages helped me achieve my dream - to live and work abroad. I currently live in Argentina where I can make more time for my hobbies like dancing and reading - and enjoying the sunshine!

My approach to teaching involves two principal methods that we mix together and adapt to the need of every individual student:

-A student-centered/constructivist approach were we place you and your interests as the springboard into our subjects.

- The comprehensible input method were we gradually introduce new vocabulary and grammar without overwhelming you.

I call it "sneaky teaching" as we engage in interactive and enjoyable conversations while ensuring structured sessions with grammar, drills, and corrections for measurable progression.

Embarking on your language learning journey with me will make the most important part of language learning very easy – when the classes are enjoyable you’re going to stick with it!

For me teaching language is more than teaching correct grammar and pronunciation. It's also about helping the student feel confident and comfortable during the process.
