Hi, I am Elien, a Dutch native speaker and tutor. My passions are creative expression such as painting, drawing and writing and being in nature. I love getting to know other people, different cultures and traveling, so I am looking forward to meeting you and enjoying the art of learning a language together.

I have been traveling and living abroad for the last 6 years so I understand the joys but also the challenges of learning a new language. I started teaching Dutch and online life coaching to do what I love while maintaining a nomadic lifestyle. Before I started traveling and working online, I worked as a social worker with troubled teenagers in the Netherlands.

I started teaching Dutch in an informal setting around a year ago. My lessons are conversation based to keep it fun and relaxed. I am patient but I will also motivate you to do your best. The lessons will be adjusted to your level and personal goals and I’ll help you to feel comfortable while speaking Dutch.
