Hi! I'm Christina, a certified tutor who uses linguistics to help students understand why English behaves the way it does. There are many confusing instances in English, but linguistics helps break down the confusing parts so you can shortcut to comprehension and fluency.

My specialization is phonology, which is the study of the sound system of a language. Using phonology (as well as syntax), we'll attack English in a simple, comprehensive way.

I studied TEFL at the International TEFL Academy, as well as worked as a writer and tutor in the meantime.

My methodology is starting with an assessment, then moving forward with an individualized lesson plan. I incorporate children's books, music, music therapy, and positive encouragement to help my students.
