Hello everyone!

My name is Ioannis (or Yannis). I am 25 years old and I have been working as a teacher of Greek for the past 2 years.

Teaching is my main passion in life. From a very young age, I can remember myself being intrigued by the idea of being a teacher. Therefore, I decided to support this dream of mine by pursuing a degree in Greek Philology and, later on, a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics.

I cannot wait to assist you in your exploration of the Greek language and culture. :)

I have 2 years of teaching experience. I have acquired a bachelor degree in Greek Philology by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Furthermore, I am currently doing a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics, offered by the University of Barcelona. Regarding my teaching methodology, I try along with my students to identify their goals/needs and also the learning strategies that are most suitable for them. I use a large variety of teaching material, which I also tend to modify depending on the interests of my students. I also structure my lessons based on topics that my students are keen on, since that makes the learning process way more enjoyable and fruitful.
