About the tutor

Hello, my name is Joebelyn. I am residing in the Philippines. I speak 2 languages and one local dialect here in the Philippines. I speak English, Tagalog, and Hiligaynon. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I love learning meeting new people and learning different cultures. I also love learning new languages because I, myself is currently learning the German language. I believe that learning has no boundaries as long as you put your heart into it. Hoping to see you in my class!

I have been teaching English for almost 3 years to different nationalities for both kids and adults. The flow of our class will depend on the level of the student. I always try to incorporate fun activities, review of vocabulary, and conversational application during the lesson.

Let me know what things you want to learn and I'll be more than happy to help you.

Specialties

  • Conversational English

With my past students, we used to have days where we have conversational lessons. We pick out a specific topic and my student will try to explain things out of it.

  • English for beginners

I had students as young as 3 years old. They were fun to teach and very bubbly.

  • English for kids

I was also able to teach school-age kids and they listen well in class. So far, I never had any problems because my students were always very participative.

  • English for traveling

Some of my students came to ask for my help because they wanted to travel. I had several adult students and this is mainly their reason for learning English.

  • ESL

Some of my students wanted to learn English to communicate well in class and to be able to interact with English speaking people.

  • For studying abroad

I can remember having a student learning English because she was preparing for an English exam to study in Australia. After a few weeks, she told me the great news that she passed it and she was very thankful.
