'Enthousiazein' in Ancient Greek (from which we get the English 'enthusiasm') means to be possessed by a god. That is how I tend to feel when I read something wonderful, and how I hope you will feel too reading and critiquing literature alongside me.

Hello, my name is Japbir and I believe I could I help you with your school exams in English Literature, be they GCSE or A-Level.* I have frankly not always been an avid reader, as this is an interest I in fact picked up, as it were, when I was about fourteen, having previously been bored to death by books. Therefore, I think I understand where you might come from if you too are not big on reading.

Rest assured, I firmly believe in the power of analysing texts well - not only for good grades in school, but also for your personal growth. This I say from experience.

*NB if I have not read the books on your chosen course I will obviously do that prior to teaching.

I have 0 years of teaching experience unfortunately! But I have taught a little in classrooms assisting the teacher and would very much like to get some more experience in this domain.

I achieved the top grade 9 in English Literature at GCSE and I am predicted an A at A-Level which I hope to surpass (I had to retake the A-Level exam as a result of complications in the year I first sat it).
