Hi there!

My name is Nadine, I was born and raised in Germany and have been living in Berlin for over 10 years now. In winters I like to escape to warm places, such as Mexico, which has become a new home for me in the past years.

I love languages! It is such a wonderful new door that opens up deeper into the local culture, when you know the language of the place you travel to. I have learnt four other languages in different ways and settings over the past 25 years and thus have a good grasp of what helps to learn a new language and what is most important when you go to a new place and want to converse with locals.

My teaching methodology comprises conversational role plays so you get by in your day to day interactions, the use of music and poetry to learn about the utilization of different words and also some videos to dive deeper into the culture.

Previously I have taught English to children, given classes on business subjects to students and also have been a language tandem partner for many years, helping my partners to become more fluid in German.
