My name is Konstantinos, 29 years old and currently located in Brussels. I have been professionally involved in teaching Greek as a turor since the autumn of 2019, as part of my duties as an immigrant lawyer, by guiding refugees towards the successful examination of the Greek ministry language certificate. Soon enough, I got compelety absorbed with the task, gave up on law and ultimately decided to exclusively devote myself on teaching the Greek language. My hobbies involve cinema, chess and basketball.

I am holder of a bachelor's and a master's law degree from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and of a bachelor's philosophy degree from KU Leuven, in Belgium. In addition, I have followed a yearly seminar, organized by the University of the Aegean, specialized in teaching Greek as a second foreign language.

With regard to the form of the courses and the methodology which I follow: I teach every level, from the very beginners to the advanced students. I have exprerience in teaching Greek for beginners, conversational and intensive Greek, as well as Greek literature. In addition, I work with a variety of books which are in strict accordance with the standards posed by the state law for the corresponding levels of Greek proficiency. In parallel, I adopt a more holistic approach, incorporating methodological varieties which embrace the internal connection I build with each of my students, their personal motives and their individual rhythmes of learning, aiming for an harmonic combination of discipline, humour and interpersonal connection.

Initially, I place particular emphasis on the grammatical and syntactical phenomena, so that the student can acquire a solid basis. From then on, we build onto the most interesting part of the courses, in which we delve into dialogic set ups, word classifications, etymological analysis and interactive conversations.
