Hello, my name is Johan, which is one of the most common male names in Sweden. I have a Ph.D. in Language and Culture and I have taught Swedish, Language Psychology and Oral Presentation at university level for future teachers and students in linguistics. I love language and communication and all the cultural customs and practices that surround a language.

I have 6 years of teaching experience at university level. My subjects are Swedish, Language Psychology, Pragmatics, Conversation Analysis, Strategic Communication and Oral Presentation. I have also worked as a lecturer and have researched court proceedings, police interrogations and student-teacher-parent conversations.

My ambition is to teach you Swedish in a fun and educational way. It should be fun to learn new things, and you should learn a lot as a result. There will be lots of laughs but also hard work and homework. Together we will make you an excellent beginner and/or conversation participant in Swedish - and if you wish, we will advance to an intermediate level!
