My name is Roni; I was born in Haifa, Israel.

I'm a musician and have been living in Germany for the past nine years for music composition studies.

I'm a book and language lover, especially word games. In addition, I'm an experienced teacher and can make learning Hebrew fun and easy.

Lessons are held in Hebrew, but I also speak English and German.

I teach all levels, including reading and writing, which are essential to speaking the language. I usually teach conversation, listening comprehension, and grammar. I also sometimes explain etymology because I find it exciting. I think showing the affinities between words based on the same root makes it easier to memorize new words. Since Hebrew is highly structured, patterns are the most efficient way to learn it. Therefore, I teach verbal stems, verbal types, and meters (the way some nouns and adjectives were formed). I focus on verbs and prepositions and the way the preposition changes the verb's meaning. I focus on specific roots and show the most important words that originated from them. Teaching and writing content for a Hebrew academy internet platform for many years and comparing the languages, I'm used to recognizing grammatical errors caused by the difference between English/ German and Hebrew.

I'm a very patient, responsible and committed teacher. Supplying material and h.w every week, most of it tailored to the students, their life and interest. Other topics are standard topics such as food and order in a restaurant, work, studies, Hobbies, Family etc.

I supply H.W. according to the material and vocabulary we cover during the lesson. I also use books, articles from newspapers (sometimes as listening comprehension segments on which I write questions), songs and videos from Israeli T.V. or youtube channels.
