Hi! I'm Surrinder (Paul)

I am a medical doctor qualified with an MB BS (Distinction, London, UK) and a BSc. in Primary Health Care (Hons.) with a lifelong passion for medical/nursing/healthcare-related education, tutoring, mentoring and the English language.

I also hold a TEFL & Preply English language teacher certificate.

I offer personalised tuition individually, having previously delivered lectures in a hall to large groups of students at the University level to an exceptional level.

The challenge I have found with the latter approach is that each person learns differently and at their own unique pace, making it difficult to tailor instruction to meet the specific needs of every student.

As a Director of Medical Training and Education, I have mentored students at every stage of their academic journey, which differs significantly from traditional didactic tutoring.

Additionally, I have extensive experience developing examination questions and serving as a formal marker and examiner for international non-clinical and clinical medical examinations.

Furthermore, I am a member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ).

My articles have been published on various digital platforms, including The Australian Doctor, The Medical Republic, Medshadow, and various magazines targeted at women's and men's health.

I also work as an independent journalist and love hearing stories from any student's learning journey in English.

Based in Australasia, and as a result of the former pandemic, online learning suddenly became more of an alternative and convenient method where I can teach exactly the same information on more innovative platforms such as Preply's to a global audience.

Despite the lack of in-person interaction in a traditional tutor setting, I remain ultimately committed to helping you achieve your desired results.

Throughout my years as a teacher, witnessing students thrive and achieve their personal goals has been invaluable to me.

As your tutor, I am a highly organised individual with a strong work ethic, patience and understanding.
