Hello, my name is Philider and I am from Cape Town South Africa.

My hobbies include dancing, hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with my loved ones. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and will teach you in excellence. I am currently studying towards my bachelor's degree in education, going to my 3rd year now. I used to work as an assistant Librarian where I taught English as second language to learners in and around my country. My classes offer different creative ways to assist and help you in improving your level of English and build your speaking confidence. It will be a space where you can make mistakes and learn together how to correct and improve. Travelling to the USA and Puerto Rico, working with kids has given me the experience to learn new things and embrace their stories.

I am a very patient and outgoing Teacher and enjoy working with one-on-one learners so you will be sure that you will not leave behind. My classes focus on improving your speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills and work well with intermediate level, but can teach all levels. Some of our teaching focus will be on grammar. words structures, pronunciation and I like to incorporate Total Physical Response activities to boost learners’ confidence.

I am TEFL certified and have 4 years' experience in teaching. During my work as an Assistant Librarian, I have taught kids English that had challenges writing and reading English as a second language. I also assisted at the Norwood Central Primary school where have taught grades 3-6 English and Life Skills.
